If it bottoms out then try a thicker oil.

coolhandcountry 06.16.2006 09:59 PM

I ran 70 wt oil in my ue. Farthest hole out on arm. It worked great. I have heard some run as much as 100 wt.

I put my Integys up on Ebay... and guess what:032:

The Integy Shocks sold a few hours later and now I dont have any shocks :035:

So I grabbed some ol T-Maxx stock shocks I had with blue springs. Nope, na uh, aint workin. My basher is down...I mean way down :005:

Well the ue and proline bypass are little to much length difference.
I bought 4 ofna front buggy shocks off ebay.
They come out to the same length as the bypass.
The seem to be almost the same as the stock mgt shocks as well.
I Have mounted them up but need to do a spring change.
The back has to stiff of spring on it.
I will try to get it tested with in a few days if not this weekend.
I can let you know from there how they do.

Thanks for the update. I will just get another pair of UE's then. Im very happy with the first set I purchased. Guess I must double my pleasure :dft012:

I went from toy shocks to a real suspension.

coolhandcountry 06.29.2006 09:29 PM

NOthing wrong with ue for sure. I just got the bypass and want to try them. They seem to do well so far. I tried the 6 ft drop test and work well. :D
I don't even know the oil that is in them yet. The buggy shocks had oil in them and so did the by pass.

6 foot drop test, holy moly!! I think my truck would cause a minor earth quake dropped from that high. I really need another set of the UE's then and some heavy oil to go with um.

squeeforever 06.29.2006 10:25 PM

Coolhand, the Bypass' have 30wt :p

coolhandcountry 06.30.2006 01:06 PM

100 wt are in my UE's right now. I did purchase a bottle of 35 wt today and will use it in my second set of UE's. Im running black springs in back and blues up front. It slaps the ground from less then 15" when dropped.

I spent 6 hours working on my truck today :027: and I loved it :043: Cut to length and shrink wrapped all wiring and used my 16 cell IB 4200's for the first time. EEOWSERS! :004:
