Well found out tonight.
I have a new 80b quark headed my way. I get to see if this one will work right or go up in smoke as well. |
May i ask why you went with a 80? The 120 just seems alot safer imho.
|
I have very low amp draw so no need for a 125 version.Only got the 80 up to 120 f. In a 40 min or longer run. I think it says something about the amp draw. The motor is only rated for 26 amps. :D
|
Yea, but always nice to run cooler than cool! Hehe! :):p
|
Sylvester, why waste money when a 80 is already more than enough?

What are you running it in? Cant be a MT with that low a draw. |
Yes, he's running it in a MT.
|
wow. whats the setup thats its that efficient? I heat up my 125 pretty good. I cant imagine only running a 80....
|
It was a XL1200 so it ran really cool.

I have the mgm 24160 for other projects. I have a 18.97 schulze for other projects. I have a 36120 sent back to bk for other projects. I have 2 9920s at bk for other projects. Why would I need to spend more money for a few extra amps.
I may change motors for the motor was running warmer than expected. I am going to go with a xl can but with a hi turn. I will have to let you know how it works out. If I go with some 8000 mah I should get 90 -120 mins of run time. |

What is wrong with all your 9920's Leroy?
|
Well accually i have one 9920 let the smoke out.
the other is a 7020 that let smoke out and getting upgraded to a 9920. The 7020 still worked but the capacitors swoll up and smoked. So it is getting an upgrade for it. |
That means, you only have got a schulze up and running?
That's odd.. :p |
