7xl is only 2100 some loaded. That x 14.4 volts is only 30240 rpm.

EDIT: 14.4v is 12 cells, and on 16.8v (14 cells) with some load (2100 kv) it would work out to 35280 rpm |
You could go HB's too. Squee loves his diffs.

You could use the combo bulks...trust me, you're gonna want them eventually anyways.
|
EDIT: that doesnt matter what was here before. since the maxx is coming with the stock motors, and i havent got the money for the diffs, im going to run some mip cvd's, and get the hybrid bulks and 1/8th buggy diffs at a later date, and then get the BL system and strobe slipper for christmas. i kinda forgot to tell you all im 14 and broke.
|
HEHE, that's ok. Age doesn't matter, you'll get there. Hybrids are the way to go IMO...Diffs though, check ebay out, you can find some compatible diffs there that would work with the Hybrids. Just make sure you ask before purchase! Then you will know foresure!

Sorry super basher. I not sure where the mind was. Yeah 12 to 16 cells are good on the 7xl. I tried 18 cells but I had a heating issue. It may have been gearing or what I ran it in. I liked it though.

For more speed (not to hijack here) for me chc, could i run an 8 or 9xl with 16cells with good temps? 18/51 gearing?
|
I can't say for sure. I tried a 9xl on 20 51 with single speed and it over heated the esc. I think I had 20 cells though. If you have a 2 speed that would help.

Ive had another look around (here we go again lol) and what i thought is: the maxx wil already have GA bulkheads on it, so couldnt i just use the GA diff cases, and get the maxximiser diffs? (i want to save money, and im not going to be jumping lots, nor will i jump it high. would it still be fairly tough with that setup?
thank you all for all your help! :) SB |
I think that the Combo bulks will be around the same price as the GA setup. The combos with FLM diffs would be my choice.
