b-p-p.com sells charging bunkers, if you don't feel comfortable with charging them at your bench.

Are these bunkers tested and safe. I think it be nice to have some insurance. I don't worry a great deal just keep a close eye on them.

Start with buying a balancer Leroy.. :p

coolhandcountry 08.09.2006 11:31 AM

That would work to. :D I have to check into one. I thinking of going with some other lipos. I tried lipo and don't want nimh no more.

I have accually talked to some other people. They have been running lipo for years. I asked them about balancing lipo. They have not balanced since they started running them. I know it may make the cells last longer. What is the chances of it accually destroying the pack?

I've been using the Lipo Sack. Thankfully I never tested it to see if it works, but it sure can't hurt if a bad situation ever arises. But not a bad lightweight releativly cheap insurance policy. And they offer free replacement if its ever ''used''.

If I were to take a guess, I would think their batteries are Thunder Power batteries. TP generally matches the cells in their packs well enough that the packs shouldn't need to be balanced.
Not using a balancer on a pack with high quality cells that are matched by IR and capacity shouldn't be a problem unless there is some physical damage. Lower quality/non-matched packs will have a much greater chance of going out of balance, and so with them there is more danger involved with not using a balancer.
