You should be able to pick up a twin peak charger at your lhs for around 70.00. Charges 2 batteries at once (30-40 min)with indicator lights. btw how much were the bats from RS? Good rule for batteries is to never do anything with with them when their hot. Let them cool after a charge and let them cool before charging to help prolong the life.

Batteries at Radio Shack were $24.99 each, charger was an additional 39.99. I've got a collection of timed chargers I'll use for the 1900mah packs I have for the duratrax evader. I don't mind the additional wait time for charged batteries as long as I get to play with full power and speed!

No problem. I new it was the batteries/charger. You still might wanna dump the Rat Shack charge eventually. How long does it take to charge the packs?

Ordered a Mamba Max & CMS 5700.... Incredible speeds and power... Pretty much solved my main issue... review available in the product reviews and brushless forums. I haven't really played much cause it got dark out... but can't wait til tomorrow!
