I used a 3/16 drill bit(which is not as big as 5mm) and than would use a small bit in my drimmel tool to make the pinion fit on the 5mm shaft. But I guess you could use a 5mm drill bit?

I use a 13/64 bit..and it works great....
a 25/128 would be better if you can find it.... Promod, I remember... I have about a million pinion gears... all trial and error drilling.. sometimes it's good.. .sometimes it looks like sh*t.... |
so u guys are sure that there will be enough space for the grub screw? Ok will let you guys knw as soon as i go to the machine shop and let the pros do it themseleves! if it doesnt work ill have to open up my engine and make the shft thinner.
