Good to see it has a larger heatsink.. Now it only needs to corporate with 4 poles, USB programmer, LVC and a build in UBEC.. :p

That'd be really nice!

Are these things worth anything any more?

Sheesh! Talk about raising this thread from the dead.

Unless things have changed, these ESCs don't support 4 pole motors, are expensive, have little programming capability, have no LVC, and can take ages for warranty work, I'd say there are better choices out there.

I still have one laying around.
I had to ask since I got an Antique. ;-)

These controller were how rcm got their start! The beginning of Schulze alternatives.

Up until about 2 moths ago I was running a 9920 with a feigo 15l in a nitro 4 tec conversion. Worked great. I also ran that setup in a 3wd light emax and it did well too. Both with some cheap 5s lipos. Never cogged or produced much heat. Lack of a lvc is not really a problem, if you are familiar with lipo. I used a castle bec with it. Paid 50 bucks for the 9920 brand new, and 35 for the motor. With bec and lipo I had less than 150 in it. Great system, but the new owner sent it swimming in a puddle.... Oh well.

I had a 18120 that was years old as well. Ran it with a BK 5407XL motor in a Emaxx, then Revo, then Maxx, then Revo again. Still ran like a champ. I sold it with the revo conversion a while back. They are fine controllers, but do lack LVC. For some reason, I could never program brakes in it tho...
