Yeah she's interested but she wants the E-Savage. I don't think it would be a good idea to get her a Maxx. I want something I won't have to put alot of upgrades into but is still fun to drive. Don't get me wrong I am happy with my Maxx but if she drives like I do It will spend more time on the work bench.

Go for the maxx. Upgrade the bulks and shock towers (FLM would work well for little $$$). You're basically done unlesss you want RPM arms for added durability.

But even Bog Bores are pretty cheap and go with RPM pistons

I don't think the e savage is as strong as the reg savage.
If you start breaking stuff I don't think it is alot of options to upgrade to. |
I think you're right Leroy. The E-Zilla and E-Savage have limited aftermarket support and I think they cut some corners to keep cost down to compete with the E-maxx. Just my .02

I think they should have kept closer to the savage.
The savage was a great basher cause of the strength. At one time they didn't even have a set of cvds to fit the esavage. They may be out now. At least you can update the emaxx with the tmaxx 3.3 stuff to make it more durible. |
My thing is I had to sink alot of $$$$$ into the Maxx to get it even close to what I would consider durable. In retrospect if I had not kept buying stock components and would have bought what I have now I would have had enough cash for just about every FLM or UE part in their catalogs (twice). Live and Learn I guess.

not like I can say much though.... I've had several sets of control arms, shocks and whatever else on my maxx too! And on my car......oh boy! I've had several different sets of heads on it, several different custom grind cams, the list goes on, and, on, and on, and on, and on............... |
