That would be wise, unless you can find a true hardened pinion.

Taking a plastic spur is proven tough.

jollyjumper 01.07.2007 02:53 PM

like a clutchbell?

Serum 01.07.2007 02:54 PM

Too heavy. And most likely not as durable as a plastic spur/pinion.

jollyjumper 01.07.2007 02:57 PM

so i basicly need to stick to kyosho then.
ok, many thanks guys

and yet another question:
what do you think of 14mm hex hubs, are they up to the task of serious bashing? i dont mean whimpy plastic ones, but alu or even steel ones.

You can also get the FLM bulkless with HB or UE diffs.

with UE cvd's.

I agree 100%! Next to UE VBS the FLM combo bulks w/6 or 8 spider & UE CVD's are a dynamite combo!

neweuser 01.08.2007 12:30 PM

I use the FLM with UE diffs, never had a problem!!
Jolly-if you can, use the dace 23mm adaptors. I use the 14mm alum hax on my girls truck and they are wearing the rim hex indent.

jollyjumper 01.08.2007 05:48 PM

jollyjumper 01.08.2007 05:58 PM
