I've used the HV110 and was very impressed.
The HV line of controllers are good enough for me. I wish they would just modify the software for the HV110 to work with pistal grip TX's and call it a day. |
They only work with stick style transmitters? I thought they changed that?!?!?
|
If they changed that then its news to me.
I owned one and it did not work with a pistal. Where did you see/hear this? |
I can't remember now. I think I heard or read it several months ago.
|
Maybe it was in the thread star scream had.
I don't recall hearing about an update yet. I don't know why they don't make it into a car version. |
You would think a "Car Version" would be a natural, or at least the pistol grip controller option!
|
that would kick ass..
I'll shoot castle an email... |
I tried but one more won't hurt.
Maybe mike should try. Maybe joe ford should say something. He is on here more and sees more of what we want or need. |
That's a good idea.
|
The ONLY reason I sold my HV110 was that it would randomly reset when I applied the brakes. Upon reset, the throttle would set to the standard airplane setting and the throttle would be configured for half throttle at the pistals nuetral position. This would basically send the truck flying out of control on reset until I applied full brakes and turned the system off.
MMMMmmm, just think Leroy, 12S on your new MT with no worries :017: |
That would be a huge hassle and would be scarey not knowing if/when your truck would take of uncontrollably!
I would have unloaded it too! |
yeah. It is rated for 36 cells or 12s lipo. So I figure the 36120 should be good.
I will test and see if the smoke rolls. I let you know. It is close to testing any how. |
Right on
I'm looking forward to hearing about the results |
I just checked the pdf on it and there was no adjustment other than basic programming, as far as the stick programming went. I agree with Starscream on the MMM, Put pistol control on the hv 110 and call it a day, at least untill they are ready for the true MMM
|
Maybe this has been answered elsewhere, but why are air ESCs so much cheaper than car controllers?? If you compare two of the same voltage, current, and programming specs, the car one is usually quite a bit more. As far as I know, the only difference is firmware...
