I mix my oun, I run a straight blend of 99.9% battery power .1% synthetic PTFE oil (in the bearings) in my models, its pretty expensive but a great all round fuel, a gallon will last you years, it runs cleaner than barons, is easier on tuning than Odonnels, needs no afterrun like sidewinder, has more power than trinity, revs higher than petrol, is easier starting than a diesel, cooler running than a steam engine, and spools up faster than a gas turbine.

Hmm, what have I missed out? You name it, electricity will beat it.

I used to use traxxas 30% in my 3.3, run the shit out of it, never had problems. Sold the jato, and the guy is still running the same engine, he still runs it all the time, even now in the winter. Traxxas is all I ever ran though. So can't say much about it. If all you do is bash, no sense in spending hundreds in fuel. As long as you take care of your motor.

I have since switched to byrons for my truggy and buggy and revo, love it

E-Revonut 02.25.2008 02:12 AM

well since I get my electricity from a nuclear plant I guess u could say I'm running some uranium in my revo! LOL I have 2 nitro trucks that I haven't played with since I got my first electric in Dec. bought an rc18t and got hooked on the immediete power delivery and almost immedietly started building an e-revo. If u want power ditch the nitro and go brushless! More power, no oily residue, no tuning headaches, and ur neighbors won't be calling the cops when u decide to run it at 2am cause u can't sleep!

Theres a huge shipping fee from Tower for shipping fuel, isn't it.

NEVER!!!

My friends and I are ordering MassiveMods fuel. Supposedly it's as good as snake oil. You won't find it in the US though.

When I went ot the LHS to get some traxxas fuel. They told me they (LHS) don't sell it anymore due to the gumming up because the high amount paraflynn(?) wax that is used in it. I ended up with the Byron fuel.

Sorry must of still been in the search mode when I sat back down at the pc. I didn't notice the date on the thread.

Wait a minute, I wasn't still in a search. There just ins't many post in this forum. What is this some kind of Brushless Forum or something?

I used to run the sidewinder. its the best I had found.

before that I ran byrons and I thought it was good, that was until I found the sidewinder. I ran traxxas for a while also but I didnt really like it. it was alright but not as good as the other two.

only fuel I have used that I hated was blue lighting. its terrible. ended up just using the last quart of it as a cleainig solution.
