...........and you know you won't hurt anything by doing this as Nitro fuel is made for the seals and bearings! :)

ive got something to add to this one!
a member at my site posted a home brewed nitro cleaner.. a bunch of people tried it and said it worked great!
by the way, using wd-40 by itself removes the moisture from plastic, causing it to be more brittle. i heard this from someone who would know... he makes plastics.
that being said i still use it from time to time! lol.. its easy.:027:
an air compressor is key to an easy cleaning...

credit goes to abnhoosier for this.:028:

"How to make:You can easily and affordably make your own Nitro Car Cleaner by mixing 2 parts Denatured Alcohol, 1 part Simple Green, store the cleaner in a spray bottle, and to top off the brew...a capful of WD-40. Be sure to shake the bottle before every application because the solvents will separate over time. One gallon of denatured alcohol and a 2-liter bottle of Simple Green will make enough Nitro Cleaner to last months. "

I use Autozone labeled Brake parts cleaner, its basically the same as HPI nitro spray, smells the same and works the same, no deterioration of plastics yet, just use gloves and use it outside
