Yeah... I direct soldered the wires... and shortened them about and inch.

That is awesome! I had my suspicions that the MM/Neu combo would also benefit from direct soldering the motor wires. Hmmm makes me want to go back to the Neu in my buggy now to see for myself.

It does seem to help.. but again, it's not perfect. I still see an occasional bad cogging. But I can live with it, the way it's running right now.

BTW, settings on the MM yesterday...

timing: low
start power: low
punch: 30%
brake: 30%
drag brake: 15%
cutoff: 12v
