Ok I shot a bunch of pics and even used my wifes fancy camera/flash setup. Lots of body off shots, with the buggy, etc....
Here's the first three.......... one to show some naked chassis, wihtout the pipe and tank, for imagining a better type of powerplant. :020: These are with Ofna wheels and Panther Switches.... white is perty.... |

Using an Airbrush?
the choice of colors is PERFECT ! |
I used an airbrush to do some highlights and shadows, like under the 'flames', where the colors break, and in the body creases at the rear of the body, etc.
I used the airbrush for the silver too... and rattle cans for the white, blue, and green.. Actually this body is sort of a mix of all my normal paint jobs... an experiment of sorts. I didn't like that it looks like two differnet schemes stuck together. I used to do white flames on blue. Then I did a couple silver bodies... then went bright with the neon green for all my cars. This was an attempt to blend them all. :D |
how does it handle? Will you go brushless?
