alright so a 5.5 gtb combo it is. Do these now come with sintered rotors in them? and what about the spread spektrum technology, is it standard in the esc as well?

A 5955 would be a good servo...and you would never have to worry about it. I'm pretty much going to use that servo for all my steering purposes. Best servo ever in my opinion.

Id rather not go with hitec due to the practically no support it has at my track as well as the slow speed, but they do have nice torque for an emaxx or something.
If I buy a dx2, can I use any servo with it?Im looking for an airtronics one. Whats the diff between a digital servo and a regular one? RC I see that you like brushless! your sig lol. Do you think a 4.5 is too much for a 150x80 track with some a couple of areas I could open it up on? Thanks. |

Personally, 333oz/in. is WAY to much for a 3lb truck. Pure overkill. I would look at something like the Airtronics 94758Z.

Nitr0, the dx z590 is the same as a JR Z590mg so it will be a good servo

I had a Nitro Revo, and while it was good and all, I much prefer my electrics. Like others have said; less mess, less maintenance, less noise, plug-n-play, better lifespan, can run indoors, etc etc. Some of the attraction for me is the challenge of the conversion. I don't really like taking things apart for maintenance, but I love to tinker in making the parts I need for whatever conversion I'm doing. And so far, I've only done Nitro conversions - nothing that was already electric.

Like i said i play with both and like them for different reasons. Nitro for lack of a better term, is cheap, easy speed and power. If you look at RTR's you will see. But, if there is a budget and looking top shelf for everything, they equal out in price and the brushless seems to have the advantage in power. just some things to think about

What is the need for a clutch if the gt2 is only one gear? I dont fuly understand the workings of these things yet as you can tell, thats why i wanna only do stadium truck so its only rear wheel drive makes it alot easier i think.
