Nice job Hippie! :004: I love the clean wiring. Is it possible to slide in the battery tray on the motor side inward since the rear brace is opposite the drive bone? This would help out the left to right balance.:032:

I got my ERT running tonight. Im running a 62/13 gearing right with a 9XL with 9920 no fan & 8000 4s lipo. I was playing around out front of my apartment for about 6 - 10 min it's 11.30 pm EST. My temps were
ESC 125 MOTOR at can 125 at heat sink 100 Left lipo 92 & right LIPO 92 So far im very satisfied. Any suggestions ?. Also can i just throw them back in my car tommorow & have fun or do i have to charge them again & do i have to discharge them or can i just store them ?. I dont know how accurete my OFNA temp gauge is. |
I ran it again today here are the results after about 8- 10 min of high speed runs. .
ESC & fan 105 Motor 155 at can lipo 103 each |
Those temps are good- cold as a cucumber.

1st day at the track results
I finally got to the track with my ERT today. I was very pleased with the results. The track was blue groove & a light coating of dust, air temp was close to 90 degrees
My equipement was 9XL with 62/13 gearing with fan 4s 8000 maxamp lipo's warrior 9920 The following results were after at least a 15 minute run Motor temp 155 average max was 170 lipo temp were 108 average 118 max ESC was 105 thru the fan average, 121 at the heat sink max Mac what are you running for oils in your ERT ? FR shocks RR shocks FR diff CEN diff RR diff |
Sounds like you have a good setup there! Nice temps considering the ambient temp...

Oddly I like the way 10K feels in my Nitro CRT but I didn't like it at all on the electric. It diffs out WAY too much and then it accelerates erratically. With a light diff oil in the center I'd say mine feels "mushy" it takes extra time to get traction and start moving out. It IS easier to drive but it's slower...I like the feel of a heavy center...20K is great (if you can find it...I seem to recall it was hard to come by) anyway give it a whirl and post up your findings.
