For a preview, look at Dafnis truck. I am going to put together a few like his for the folks that don't have the ability or desire to craft their own for now. In the very near future, though, there will be a sweet conversion available. Sorry, though, I can't post pictures until it is further along in its development and testing(I know, I am a tease!).

J Cates:

What vehicle? What cell count? Tires/wheels? Help me help you. There are several motor combos available with advantages and disadvantages to each, depending on your goals.

Mike, you droped the bomb!

J Cates 07.02.2005 05:27 PM

stock emaxx

8l on 12 cells with a 9920 warrior will be a monster on 12 cells, as will the lehner basic xl3100 or 2800 motor. For 12-14 cell operation, go with the 9L or xl2800 motor.

Rene, some guys just like their RC's way to much. :L:

But I agree, the BL Revo will give you sleepless nights.

how does a stock revo perform? i just got one off the internet and cant wait to get it. dafni what did you have to do to convert it to brushless? i can see the obvious but was there any thing like driveshaft problems, ect.?

Dafni 07.05.2005 04:08 PM

Squee, good to hear. Go for it! The conversion I did was pretty easy and straight-forward. Check my thread in the Revo section, almost everything has been discussed there. No special problems whatsoever. For the Ti centershafts I used ask Mike.

I think the stock (BL, that is :p) Revo handles great and is a tuff truck. Lot's of easy adjustment possibilities, and IMO easier to drive than a stock Maxx.

squeeforever 07.05.2005 08:49 PM

thats good to here. i might have to leave it stock:M:.

Dafni 07.06.2005 01:43 AM

I think you will get a lot of fun out of a stock BL Revo. Especially the front and rear driveshafts make a very good impression.
