Hopefully, I can test my 1515/1y, 4s LiPo, 52/17 gearing today for run time and temps. It is in an e-Maxx though....I'll post the results.

My 1512/2.5D Neu has no issues at all running near 40k RPM (16cells nimh and now 5S Lipo)

Yeah, my 1512/3D (1700kv.) is running on 7s A123 cells and that brings it up to 38,000rpm... geared 40mph, it's only 110F after 15 mins of hard running. Very good motor! :yipi:
