Yah serum, the audio thing was just food for thought. I figured that any kind of "ripples" going back into the receiver either via the power or output wires could contribute to it's inability to function properly. I'm only grasping at small solutions, a new radio is an expensive fix next to a capacitor or a shielded wire or moving stuff around. Didn't see how it could hurt for the cost (mabey 5 or 10 bucks).

I wounder what the radio would do if you plugged in a receiver battery but kept the "package" like it is, still 100'? how about with the esc unplugged from the receiver? Just be sure to disconnect the red wire from the esc connector at the receiver befor you plug in the sepperate battery- like you were going to use a ubec. (don't need to have someone fry components because of what I said)

Only trying to help, not lead the way... I am not an electrical wizard.

The Futaba is awesome, I'm still figuring uses for all the features and its the 1st radio I've had that 100% glitch-free. Its a def best buy

Have you ran it yet to see if anything helped? Is it happy? What worked? What didn't?

I thought I would have more time but something came up. Im still deployed overseas. I have a lot of time to ponder my rc's but not really a lot of time to get out and use them! Ive saved a lot of money on deployment and a new radio is going to be my next investment when I get back to the states. Thanks for all the suggestions, Ill be sure to post when I actually get to try them!

Something else I forgot to add was when I put my MM system, Maxamps battery, receiver and servo from the pede into my T4, I had nearly unlimited range..

 wow, must have something to do with the chassis then? Any chance one of the motor leads are shorted to the can? (i.e. ohm meter between can and motor leads should be an open circuit) could be charging everything up with motor pulses?
