My kyosho 7.5 Conversion is 7.7 pounds with a 1515 1y/f motor and 2 2s Neu 5000 Mah packs

I haven't touched the 8 since I bought it. But I have put more time into the truck project. I am out of state right now, but I will start a dedicated thread to that truck when I get back in town. I am machining the steering parts now (all aluminum cut on the CNC). I love building one off stuff!
The steering parts are turning out absolutely beautiful! I am cutting everythign on the CNC and all parts pivot on bearings. I am over building averything! Being a straight axle truck, it will not run fast (top speed handling is terrible on straight axle trucks). But, it should be a fantastic climbing/bashing truck. I am enjoying just looking at it! Hmm, is that weird? Matt |
I realy don't know how you can build a brushless buggy under 8 pounds.
My Mugen MBX5, with Neu 1515 1Y, MGM 16018 and a flightpower 5000mAh, 4s is at 8.6 pounds and i can't go down:neutral: Quote:
And roling, the MP7.5 and mugen is about the same weight. the only way for me to go under 8 pounds is to remove the motor!!! |
My Mayhem buggy weighs 7.6 lbs. Lehner 1940, MM, Neu 4s 4300
