I've been busy this evening and the truck is looking great. The anodizing all came off really easy but the fumes made my head all loopy.

Dicky, looks really good! Maybe dye the wing and blue dust boots?
hey jsut a fast question. say you wanted to paint the chassis a different color after you stripe it what kinda paint would you use.
Thanks guys. Squee, I will get a new wing for it, I want one of the high downforce ones in black and the new traxxas one for photo's and the dust boots are shot. I'm thinking about dying the new ones when I replace them.
As far as painting, it will chip, but you would prep, primer and paint it like any other metal. |
I would look into getting it anodized or powder coated.
^ that would be the only way to go without it chipping real bad
looks great! you should paint the springs and turnbuckles and pushrods.
Why would he paint the red Traxxas Tubes or the springs that match?
