the only way he could use the setback arms, is with the rear racer x suspension....it the following items
2 upper arms
2 upper turnbuckle kit
L&R rear knuckles
2 setback arms....

there is no way to adapt them to another suspension...except for maybe the integy knockoff....but i really doubt it

Ah yeah, I did mean the whole Racer-X kit, not just the lower setback arms. Its strange though, you can buy the upper arms, knuckles, and rodend thingies on UE, but not the setback arms, and the over-all price for the complete kit isnt all that bad really. Hopefully Integy will make some nice knockoffs with the 7075 they are using these days, rather than the old junk they used to knockout.

I've heard the Integy Type 3 Pro isn't that bad. Coolhandcountry had it and he didn't manage to break anything surprisingly. :mdr:

I have been running the Type 3 pro on my FLM chassis for the last 6 months and have not managed to bend anything so far. And I have beat on it hard enough to snap 2 stock chassis before switching to the FLM.

Over all I am very happy with it. The truck handles noticeably better then with stock or RPM arms. My only complaint is that the turning radius is not as tight as I would like which seems to be due to limited travel at the pillow balls in the steering knuckles.

I would love to have the racerX setup but the prices are just a bit much for me to justify.

Are you referring to what integy calls evolution 3 suspension? Not a lot of imagination there, just repro'ing stock parts in alum. Or is it the evo 4 set up you're talking about. At least that show some attempts to design something different.

I see they finally ran out of that ungraded, soft alum that they used to use. Maybe in a few years all the folks that bent their integy stuff will forget. Wonder if their customer service has gotten any better?

yes, the Type 3 is identical practically. There was a set selling on Ebay a few weeks ago. The guy had to relist them a few times to get a bid though.

Finally found it on back on pg3, I didn't look that far into their T/E Maxx listings initially. I wouldn't call it identical (I have 3 Racer-X sets, a 15mm and 2 16mm sets), but its obviously Racer-X knockoff. Especially the knuckles with the same lightening holes as Racer-X. The arms look blockier and aren't shaved down like UEs, but its def UE design.

They don't show any info on it - doesn't mention if its 7075 or any alum grade for that matter. I've always assumed if its not mentioned, its the grade below 6061. I guess thats not a good assumption anymore. I guess some other seller is listing it as 7075, but from Just go Play's experience, it sounds like it is, anything less would have bent.

On Fleebay, the guy is selling a cheapo set, but I've heard people getting the shaft from this guy. If you type in Supermaxx, they come right up.
