yeah we can now make a joke out of this.
and yes probably suicideneil meant the wording with a certain extent of irony. thats my interpretation of his response. however i was just taking his words as an example. but imo it is exactly that attitude that some 'more experienced' users sometimes show in their answers. and thats something i don't like. for the rest i agree on the argument of excessive laziness of some 'fresh' users. bye rhylsadar |
I don't think it's fair to blame the MM failures on morons. In reality, the battery being not up to par, or the motor being not quite right, should not cause the ESC to burst into flames, or stop working before it hits the ground.
I'm not trying to say anything bad towards castle either, but it seems there have been more problems than I would expect, and I maintain, that if the battery is not quite up to par, the ESC should cut out from hitting the LVC, not burst into flames or otherwise fail. J. |
HAHAHA. Great thread. I'm a member of another rc forum (won't mention names) and you should hear some of the guys over there beat down on the "noobs" if the "noobs" don't bow to them. Not much of a fan of this other forum due to some of their policies and the many arrogant members that make so many threads painful to read.
It just makes me appreciate this forum so much more. |
Yeah, I thought it was a valid thread seeing that I started it & doesn't look like anyone can keep to the topic, but, I'm having a laugh anyway.
By the way, who ever said electricity & water don't mix mustn't be stirring long enough! Actually, I know of guy's that break in brushed motors in a glass of water, go figure. Oh & Tim, does that toy you're holding take a 1, 2 or 3s pack & what's the runtime? |
