What was your U.S. Dollar converted cost after shipping? I would consider this if its not too outrageous.

I know that it was pretty high in comparison to the what it should be, around $425 shipped.

There's not too many of them out there and only a few people on here talk about them, and of those who do I don't think I've ever heard anyone say it's a bad truck and don't get it. Everyone's review has been good to great.

Plus, I am sure I'll make back at least $100 selling off the nitro parts and radio/receiver.

The alternative was to spend another $200 on the extended arms for the crt.5 and give them a try.

My plan is to pretty much use the GT10 off road in dirt and cut to thick grass and then keep Anacondas on the crt.5 (which have a nice offset to make the .5 wider) and use that for bashing around in parking lots. I am figuring I will run the 5 and 6S TP 2600mAh packs I have for the .5 with either a 1509 or a 1512 motor.

Sounds like a good setup. Is the gt2 version wider than the regular? It looked like it was (well I should say without wheels/tires, as obviously the tires are bigger!).

You will have to snap some pics and give a review once you get it!

I too dont plan to do the wider .5 arms as I cannot afford them...so hopefully I can get the width I want with the wheels, and the length with mikes longer chassis.

I hope I like it enough to get rid of the rustler, that way I only have one rc to focus on.

IMO the 30 series prolines are nice but they don't give the truck enough width. I have been most happy I think with the Traxxas 2.8" Annaconda Rear mounted tires for Jato:

are the absolute best tire for parking lot and high speed running w/o ballooning. It's got a 4.25" measured diameter and can easily be geared for 45+ in the .5. Also the Jato wheel has a wider offset and widens the truck just right.

I'll post some pics as I work on it, but the mount will be pretty easy as there a RCM mount for the LS10 and I looked it up and the center diff mount is the same part no. for both.

I think im going to go with the crt.5 with the extended chassis (by rcm, which includes the motor mount). I have some 1/8 buggy adaptors (17mm) that are about 3/4 inches wide, so these with some 1/8 buggy tires or my large buggy tires should work pretty well I think.

Any pics you can post would still be sweet :)
