lmao!

nbcaznmaster 11.25.2005 01:07 PM

Well, i insisted on paying for dafni cuz hes in europe. HOw about this dafni! u make teh parts for the esc mount and rollbar? They are smaller and shoudl cost really less to ship. Went to TWO home depots and a LOWES, neither got any aluminum sheet metal.... Really annoying!

Ran my revo today. It had good accelration but the top speed wasnt great.. I was expecting 40mph, but i got 25 MAX! N revo still would own it...Maybe bl was a mistake....

Serum 11.25.2005 01:13 PM

come close, closer, closer.. lend me your ear.. a bit closer.. YOUR BATTERIES SUCK!!!!

rchippie 11.25.2005 01:46 PM

LOL:L: .

nbcaznmaster 11.25.2005 01:53 PM

okay! maybe they do! but the top speed shoudl be better then 25!

Sylvester 11.25.2005 01:55 PM

No, because your batteries are really shit, it kills the performance by half.

Serum 11.25.2005 01:57 PM

you need more power than your batteries can deliver. Did we ever told you something wrong Ncabz?

Sylvester 11.25.2005 02:00 PM

Its just like trying to make a motor rated for 20volts run on 12 cells, it wont give you ultimate performance, how old are your batteries, what kind are they?

nbcaznmaster 11.25.2005 02:09 PM

is that why teh batts were warm, while everythign was ice cold? I got some gp3300 i can try with. JJust need to solder soem wire

Sylvester 11.25.2005 02:11 PM

How many cells do the GP 3300s have?

Serum 11.25.2005 02:13 PM

Yeah, i'm sure it will drive much faster, you are at half the power now..

I just saw that vid Country has. It looks good! with better cells, it will be much faster though! you got 12 gp3300's? they will give much, much better results than those other cells you're using.

Sylvester 11.25.2005 02:26 PM

And if those fail, it might be your charger!

WHAT! Just kidding

Serum 11.25.2005 05:58 PM

Yeah, i wonder; NBCaznmaster, did those GP3300's worked miracles?!

nbcaznmaster 11.25.2005 06:00 PM

I upped teh pinion to 17t, faster. The batts got really hot. Motors and esc are fine. Dunno why. The batts drained really fast, like less then 5 minutes.

Sylvester 11.25.2005 06:43 PM

They should ahve lasted a bit longer, maybe its time for a new charger?

nbcaznmaster 11.25.2005 07:22 PM

ture, i have a hobbico 15 min quick charger. I got a dynamite peak charger. But it takes like 3 hours to charge. Dunno if thats normal. THe peak charger has been actign funny.

Sylvester 11.25.2005 07:34 PM

15 min?!?!?! thats quick, that charger should ONLY be used with 1500mah packs or less. Try to use the dynamite, you wont regret it.

crazyjr 11.25.2005 07:45 PM

Hey Nbcazn. if you watch the charger you can charge with your timed charger, just restart the timer till the batteries feel warm to the touch. They should be close to full charge.

Are the batteries NIMH or NICD?

nbcaznmaster 11.25.2005 08:01 PM

nimh, peak charger is really wiered, after im done chargering, teh batt is stone cold.. It takes and extremely long time too.

squeeforever 11.25.2005 08:53 PM

its simple, it really is. GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND GET A CHARGER! you can get one for little to nothing.

dabid 11.25.2005 09:58 PM

Get a MRC Super Brain 959, and a little house fan to go under it; your battery charging problems will be solved. <------(that's a period)

coolhandcountry 11.25.2005 10:12 PM

They even sell these on ebay second hand.

Sylvester 11.25.2005 10:25 PM

Yes nbcaz, the charger was the whole problem all along, id get the superbrain charger, its the best bang for the buck.

squeeforever 11.25.2005 11:17 PM

i can see if now..."got screwed on the 959" :L: :L:

Yeah, followed by 35 pages of random fragmented comments within 20 minutes about every minor victory/defeat. :L:

All I can say is that I love my two 959's, they work like a charm and always correctly peak every time. MRC also builds in cool technology to keep the cells cooler, I've charged my same packs on other chargers and they got hot, real hot.......I'll stick with my $50 purple bricks, thank you very much. ;)

I like my 959 as well. I've thrown away all the other chargers for the various batteries I have throught the house. I've made different connector adaptors so I can charge pretty much any battery; AAA, AA, C, D, sub-C, sub-AA, 9v. I only wish it would have the option to charge at intervals less than .5A (like .1, .2, .3 ...), then it would be perfect. When I finish my BL Revo, I'm debating whether I should buy a large charger to charge two 6-7 cell packs at once or just another 959.

Sylvester 11.26.2005 09:09 AM

I think you guys are making nbacznmaster feel bad, by stealing his thread.....

Serum 11.26.2005 09:24 AM

I think our most friendly user (ncabz) doesn't mind, to be honest, i am quite a threadspoiler myself.. But for the sake of our love, let's keep it on-topic..

Sylvester 11.26.2005 09:30 AM

Thank you! This is a thread for nbcaznmaster's cardboard creation, not some silly charger, if he knows whats good for him, he will get that charger.

Serum 11.26.2005 09:32 AM

or beg for it..

I didn't said that.. I DID NOT SAID THAT..

Sylvester 11.26.2005 09:34 AM

You said she said that i said that you said that i said that you said i said to stay on topic but than you said this and that bla bla bla, lol sorry, i got a little carried away:p

Serum 11.26.2005 09:35 AM

LOL..

Ncabz..;

Did you get your aluminum holders yet? did you allread find a nice way to mount your 9920?

Sylvester 11.26.2005 01:29 PM

I think he may make a similar mounting spot as dafni, with the L bracket beside the motor?

nbcaznmaster 11.26.2005 02:59 PM

yep, ima steal ALL fo dafni's idea and claim it as my own! lol j/p. No aluminum holders yet. I do need a good cahrger. SO if any1 got a used one, can u hoook me up?

Serum 11.26.2005 03:24 PM

LOL!
