Yeah pretty much. Its stupid fast and handles unreal. I always thought my Revo would be hard to beat, but this sucker takes the cake.

The diffs are 40K front, and 7K rear. Really makes it turn on a dime.

That sounds like a good idea. Less weight than a tranny and you could use the slipperential. I haven't looked at the truck to see if it would work but instead of mounting the motor over the diff could you cut a hole in the top chassis plate and mount the motor beside the diff?

I had a quick look at Brian's calc. The pinion would need to be much smaller, 11-12t.

I was thinking the center diff and motor might fit more in between the top and lower chassis plates, the diff could moved off center just like the 8ightT ?????

Yeah, that's what I meant. As I said you would need to open up the top chassis for the motor to fit.

I find out when I cross that bridge, I hope to start on that after I make a few much needed repairs on a few other trucks. Maybe in a couple weeks ?

Motor above the diff works well. CD mounted to custom bottom plate, fits right up in the tranny hole, slight filing may be needed around the outdrive cups. Gearing would be quite limited with stock F/R diffs, which is why I will be using Muggy diff gears to give a little more choices. I will also be using a 48 - 50t spur (12/46 shown) to give further gearing options, although 11/46 fits current configuration.

muggy diff cases are the same as Lst diffs,muggys have 43/11 crown and pinion ,you may want to try Sportwerks Mayhem Turmoil diffs they also are a direct fit and have 43/13 crown and pinion.

Yes muggy diffs are a drop in to the lst2 cases, Sportwerks are as well; and you can use Mayhem ST TiNi gears for bulletproof muggy ratio. Running that in my muggy.

I just saw a mayhem 45t ring gear, will that fit in the lst diff case? Also with the pinion, does it need to be matched with the ring gear or can I just swap the pinion 11 to 12 to 13?

You will need the 45t ring gear and the 11t pinion to match it, and they will fit right in the LST2 cases

I'm doing the same thing with my LST. One regular LST and one LST XXL driveshaft seem to give the right length for a center diff in an LST. It almost falls together!!

That's the set up Bondonutz was thinking of. Looking at it now, I would like to see how he mounts the batteries and I notice he has only one steering servo, I would like to know how that works too. Maybe it's with a muggy assembly :neutral:

This is one of the baddest servo on the market, 541oz Torque at 7.4volts, All Titanium gears. I've broken several aluminum servo horns and the LST2 steel drag links with this Robot servo. I have several and they are worth the $$ for sure.
