yes i had that problem, I just added my debit card then changed the payment option to my bank account before completing checkout.

big greg 03.03.2010 02:56 PM

They must have changed it. I ordered with my PayPal account. I never updated the bank information after I changed bank accounts, so it only has my credit card on it. I also had it sent to an unconfirmed address.

However, I haven't received my package yet, though I expect it to be at the soonest next week since I'm in Canada.

big greg 03.04.2010 06:03 AM

dkexige 03.05.2010 07:09 PM

Does the order status on your hot bodies account ever change? Mine still says:

I hope its bot because of all the out-of-stock things I ordered anyway.

Same here, I tried calling them to find out what's going on but the person incharge of orders wasn't in at the time so I guess I"ll have to try later.

dkexige 03.05.2010 09:10 PM

I put in an order tonight - bunch of dogbones, a couple of the Chev truck bodies (cant beat that price for a body to tear up), and a couple sets of diffs. Only question I have is what will the HB diffs fit in? Most any 1/8 set up?
I got a paypal address check (got that from Mike too) and a "paypal payment delay error" but it appears that the order went through.

Would've orderd some tires and rims but with no descriptions, couldn't tell if any of them had 17mm hubs.....

riverat1540 03.06.2010 04:09 AM

well the center diffs can be used in alot of things and the front/rear can be used in the jammin crt's and so i would assume lots of the ofnas as well, and most likely other hpi 1/8th scale

riverat1540 03.09.2010 12:59 PM

Refund

Well looks like they refunded me 20 bucks for the 2 diffs, and the wing i ordered. paypal said partial refund, they gave me everything except my shipping back. im confused and upset at the same time because why not a full refund? anyone else had this?

MikeW 03.09.2010 03:47 PM

file a paypal claim if you can

riverat1540 03.09.2010 04:00 PM

im still trying to figure it out at this point i am going to call hp now.
update soon....

JThiessen 03.09.2010 06:57 PM

Let us know - I just got a 22 dollar refund from them also. I'd rather keep my order pending arrival of new or replacement stock.

simplechamp 03.10.2010 12:40 PM

Received my order today that was placed on Feb. 25th.

riverat1540 03.10.2010 01:05 PM

I called yesterday but the person they said i needed to talk to was not in, but fed ex came today and i got the 2 dollar wing i ordered, if i had knew the diffs would not be available i would have not ordered the wing alone.

scarletboa 03.10.2010 06:05 PM

my order showed up yesterday after ordering on sunday. shipping is very fast for me because i live maybe 4-5 hours driving distance from them.

DAMMIT! i bought 6 more pairs of the 7" huge tires for $5 a pair and only got 1 pair. that was the main reason i even ordered from them. well, at least my 4 more pairs of lightning stadium racing tires came in. i have my first set stretched onto some rulux half-ups and plan to race with them. can't beat $6 for a pair of good truggy tires.

dkexige 03.11.2010 01:16 AM

My order came in full today with some customs/tax tacked on top by the border police.

Sorry to hear everyone getting their refunds now though.

George16 03.11.2010 02:08 AM

Yup, I also got a $27 refund. I wonder which parts were not shipped.

JERRY2KONE 03.11.2010 02:11 AM

Still waiting on mine

You guys are lucky though, because I am still waiting on mine to get here. Unfortunately it has to go through diplomatic security in DC, then to San Francisco, and finally to Korea. Mine will likely take another week or two.

JThiessen 03.11.2010 09:26 PM

Got my shipment today, and suprisingly, I got the diff's. But....what I really wanted was the bodies (which showed as instock when I ordered)....and they were what I didn't get.

George16 03.11.2010 10:37 PM

My mom received my order yesterday and it's now on its way to Japan. I'm hoping I have diffs in there or else..........................

big greg 03.11.2010 10:43 PM

My thoughts exactly. I ordered 4 of them :whip::whip:.

JERRY2KONE 03.12.2010 03:42 PM

Just checked

Well I just received notice that my credit card was charged for the entire order, and I have 4 diffs on my order. Including two hardened diffs. I guess I got lucky. I will post up when everything arrives here in Korea.

Yup, I ordered 4 hardened diffs plus other things like dogbones and 44T spurs.

JERRY2KONE 03.25.2010 02:35 AM

Yipeeeee!!

My HPI box arrived today:party:. I just opened it up and those tires are HUGE:gasp:. They look about as big as those Jombo Kong tires i have seen around. Plus they were already mounted on cool rims. My son's love them:intello:. At that price I could not resist. I also received a few decal sheets, a clear Hummer body, about 5 steel center diff gears(44T, 45T, & 46T), two complete hardened center diffs(44T), two complete hardened reg diffs, and a wing. All for about $75 shipped. You cannot beat that with a stick. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Even my wife was impressed with how much I received for the price. The tires look, feel & smell like real 1:1 tires. The kids will love running with those installed on their trucks. What a great deal. I hope we can find more sales like that one. Thanks to whoever posted that for us.

I concur:yes:

George16 03.25.2010 03:04 AM

I got mine and it only has one diff in it :diablo::diablo:.

vader2728 03.25.2010 06:21 AM

I ordered the same tire and rim combo Jerry... Nice Moab clone... When I mounted them up, the spokes rubbed on my EXT knuckles... Gonna have to do some trimming of the rims to run on my truck... But they do look good!

JERRY2KONE 03.25.2010 06:42 AM

Extenders

I have a set of those extenders in one of my parts boxes that I can use with them. I think they are long enough to increase the wheel to wheel distance by 1 1/2" to 2". That should be enough to keep the wheel from rubbing.

vader2728 03.25.2010 08:46 AM

They didn't rub enough to warrant the extra width... As heavy as they are there's enough stress on the bearings already... A quick shot with the dremel and a sanding drum will take care of it... Just a few mm''s needs to be taken off... A small few...

Happy times

I was so happy getting my HPI box that I went in and ordered a few more items seeing that most everything was $1. Kind of like going into the dollar store. I spent another $100 on spare drive shafts and gears. I wanted a good selection of center drive shafts to choose from for different build projects, since RCAlloys is out of the picture now. I hate having to wait on custom drive shafts being made for specific build requirements. For a $1 you can't beat the price. Plus I like having a good stock of spare parts to draw from.

JERRY2KONE 04.16.2010 07:23 AM

Another box of goodies

Well I received my second box of HPI goodies today. Two more center diffs 50T, and one regular diff $9 each, plus a whole bunch of other stuff. God bless America.
