tedo that is a pretty bitchin 4x4 pede, makes me want to go and trade something for one.

No snow ashing for me last night it took almost an hour to get home on a normal 10-15 minute drive. But with all this weather hitting both sides of the states feel free to post up your snow/mud/etc pics everyone.

Thanks Reno. I am not really a fan of traxxas, but the 4wd pede seems like a perfect, yet simple basher. Able to run a single battery, plus the whole waterproof thing. Plus it's 4wd! I only thing, I didn't like about the the pede was the body height, so I chopped down the body posts to make it sit lower on the chassis.

Went out today for an hour bashing, and completely beat the living sheet out of it, drove it through the deepest, sloppiest puddles (close to 40 here today), and wide open speed drifts. The only thing that happened was my esc doesn't go in reverse anymore (stupid, typical trx junk, haha).

Love how these offset rims make this thing wide (yes, I know my camber needs adjustment)...

I am liking that look, you need to stop posting or I may just have to order up...

The ESC thing might just be a calibration fault with the radio. I have never had any problem with any of my VXLs past or present that wasn't my fault. I am thinking a Pede 4x4 with the waterproof VXL and a Castle 1410 would be an insanely fun little creature.

Yeah, I bought the NIB roller off of flea bay for $160. I already had a VXL system laying around, with a losi 2.4 tx/rx.

The tires and body were not necessary, just my aesthetic...

I will look into the radio issue.

Tell me more about that 4x4 Tedo, im intrigued. What mods have you done do it? What springs are those? What tires/rims are those?

The mods are:
slash 4x4 body posts chopped down, redrilled and screwed back on (you can use the stock pede body posts and chop them down too, I just wanted it super low)

The shocks I had laying around. I believe they are Venom shocks... I got them in a trade a while ago, but they look like venom shocks. They are aluminum and adjustable, so I'm happy with them.

The wheels are rpm revolvers (wide offset crawler). They need to be wide offset to clear the steering knuckles. I actually like the look too. The tires are just standard 2.2 masher 2ks.

72 chevy body (so cool looking).

Freeze, I believe you will like the pede better than the slash. It's almost exactly the same chassis layout: the pede is a little shorter and narrower. It also has the receiver box mounted up front on the chassis instead of middle configuration on the slash. But other than that, it is exactly the same: a-arms, hubs, driveshafts, motor mount, etc. It is small, quick and durable. Love being able to run 1 battery, instead of 2 like in the flux or maxx...

Wow you must have some special powers with that truck tedo, about 5 people suggested Freeze get the 4x4 Stampede and he said no way and terminated the discussion!!! It is very nice though.

I know... I read... silly. I just don't think he had the vision to see how one could be set-up properly. In freezie's defense, he said he saw one locally, and it was probably in stock form which looks incredibly awkward, and the talons are rubbish.

Think I'd just go with a 4x4 Slash roller myself, toss on a E-Savage/T-Maxx body, and get some 8th scale wheel adapters and toss on some small T-Maxx wheels such as Badlands or something.

I do love the lower body look for sure.

Tedo: love the look of you're truck too man, always loved that Chevy body. I think it might look more scale though on the Slash with a Maxx body though, with your wheel and tire combo. That would be my choice, since everyone is voicing their opinions  How are the stub axles holding up?

Couldn't make up my mind so I picked up a Kinect instead.
