I am constantly scanning ebay for TRX-1 items that will "spice up" my buggy. (especially the elusive motor plate.....garrrrrr). Anyways, I have always been on the lookout for the Thorp tranny gear set which changes the internal gear ratio from 2.14 to 2.25 (same as stealth tranny).

I was very sleek about hiding that 2 foot antenna (scheesh!). Took a bit of creativity!

It almost seemed impossible with the very low sitting body. I needed to mount the receiver in a way not to make the body bulge. I had to remove the vintage Parma servo saver (dang!) and re-route the servo link (better geometry now though). Yay!!!! I just tracked down and purchased a NIB motor plate!!!! Four months of searching!!!!! Can't wait for it to show up. :intello:
