You didn't used the MGM's LVC?

coolhandcountry 11.10.2006 06:07 PM

Well he talking about 24 cells so the lvc is not necessary. Unless he changes to
8s later. The mgm has the built in lvc to. May not detect individual cells but
well work.

The MGM would not work with the FMA LVC's so it was not a good solution for me
this was the reason why i mentioned it.

You are probably one of the few people that even doesn't use one with his lipo's.... :p

coolhandcountry 11.10.2006 06:29 PM

I see.
Yes I could have used the MGM lvc but I would rather use the FMA DPM's because they monitor each cell individually and I want to protect, my rather large, investments. :028:

Then put them in a glass box in the living room.. LOL

What cells are you using? i personally think that lipo cells need to be matched too (they need this more than NIMH's) but somehow i don't hear a single company doing so..

Okay, to talk in my line of expectations;

Do you know that a flightpower cells allmost never makes your ballancer 'unballance light' burning?

Many companies do match their cells. I've never heard of companies telling that to the customer directly though. At some I read that Maxamps does match cells, and Thunder Power does for sure also.

MY 8S Lipos is only 732 Grams.... 24 Cells... uuhmm .. 1700 Grams.. :)
