They should be, since the construction of those packs is cheap. The cells are held together with thin strips of nickel that are welded onto the cells, and they don't conduct electricity too well.

intrested in a mgm60amp brushless esc?

FWIW, all my NiMH GP3300 batts are from RadioShack. It's a bit of a PITA to take the crap foil off each cell, rough up the edges, and make SBS packs, but it's worth it considering you can easily pull 100A bursts depending on the setup. The pack is only as good as the weakest link...

hey how do you like that ice also what power supply do you have and howmuch/were did you get it

t-maxxracer32 12.02.2006 12:31 PM

lol my power supply is a battery i jacked from my dad =) for now..

and as far as the charger goes i LOVE it. now i knwo why pwople said it was so easy! i havent ever messed with a nice charger and withing 5 minutes i pretty much got the hang of it. i have no idea what anything means on it... lol but ill learn eventually. ill probably just end up using that battery untill it dies and then recharging it. (just depends how long it lasts for)

o and also the gp3300s are SWEET! way better than crappy 3000s that i have! very impressed! (and i havent even made it a sbs pack! once i do i should get more power too!) im extremely happy with the both of them =D

EDIT i got it from rc boys on ebay for like 120 shipped i think it was EDIT
