No risk. Just be sure to gear it correctly, otherwise, it will overheat and thermal quickly. A fan and/or heatsink wil help out a lot as well.

Some new´s from my outrunner Hellfire !
I changed the 700/umin/per Volt Motor into a 1200/umin/per Volt Flyware Proto Type ! Jesterday i did the first drifts and I must say that the Setup now works realy brilliant and very very well ! I use a self made 20 Tooth Pinion (from a org HPI Bell ) ! Soon I will try to make a Video so that You can see the Performance of my CAr ! The Wether in Germany is now starting to get better so I will try to Drive a make the Video the next Day´s !
