Yeah, it usually takes him around 1-2 days to respond. His shipping is great also; I placed an order Sunday, he shipped it out Monday, thought it would be here today but I guess not:031: , (we live like 2 hours from each other!) Maybe tomorrow....

Bye:018:

Yes and no. It took me 2.5 days to drive to NY from MN. A total of 23 hours or there around. I drove all the way to the bash last year! LOL:027:

Distance has very little significance in shipping time. USPO for example routes all packages through 1 of 16 bulk mail centers in the US. So, shipping from next door would go to your regional mail center and then back again, could go thousands of miles to move a few feet. Other shippers have somewhat similar systems.

On the other hand, could be on the other side of the continent, and because of air shipments of packages could get it at least as quick as the next door guy and perhaps quicker. And then factor in employers' industry and other variables....

And the variable you wouldn't ship something to the guy next door if you could just hand it to him. And sometimes, distance does matter. For instance, if a guy sent me a package from CA 2-3 day, I wouldn't see it for four. If someone from chicago shipped it 2-3 day, I would see it in two. I understand what you are saying, but sometimes, distance DOES matter.
