Looks good.

sapper_triple6 04.04.2007 03:56 PM

It must have been halfway decent anyway, I sold it for $400 almost stock.

I stick with single color paint, but can jump from color to color. I'm going through my silver phase right now. I found the perfect silver, its from Modelmaster, its called AMC Sterling Silver Metalic 3D, its the closest to a true silver i have ever seen. I get mine in rattle cans but i'm sure its available in small bottles for PB guys. Its a laquer based but holds up to rc good, but most colors might not work

jnev 04.04.2007 06:13 PM

Wow, all these bodies are amazing. I really need to start practicing, lol.

I'll post my bodies up in a little later, I need to dig through all my folders to find them. :005:

Crazy good work as usual Mr. Overkill!!!!

Hey 360... Howd you do the wethered look like that. I kinda like it.

GorillaMaxx360 04.04.2007 09:55 PM

first i painted a candy red body with silver backing. it was an overall good paint job exept for some window over spray so i hated it. Step two paint the whole outside of the body in black fusion krylon paint (regular paint might work this just might sand off easer) then just sand untill you have enough black and red or any color you want. i was unhappy because after i painted it black it started to chip because people would run into me in the back of my car doing about 20 while i was stopped waiting for the race to start. So i decided to make the body sandy clear but the inner coats like the candy and sliver where too stook on so i just started to sand the outside. i then realized it started to look cool so i then tryed to sand in a specifice weathered looking pattern untill i got satisfied. but since it is painted on the outside and the inside and it was sanded it has a very low glossy look on the outside. -BTW Overkill i like the buggy body and i think those maxx arms are just sick in the color orange.-

GorillaMaxx360 04.04.2007 10:05 PM

you probably wont but if you ever do want to get rid of the maxx let me know because i just love the look of the orance silver and black

Overki11,

At some point in the past you must have gotten a really good deal on a lifetime supply of Orange and Black paint. Its been a recurring theme throught your rc collection! Not a bad thing, just noticing a pattern there. :027:

civicwil 04.11.2007 11:47 AM

overtki11, This is a New Era Pro stock chassis we have an Axial .32 in it.
Sorry no good pictures, this car is not mine. I'll see if I can get some good pictures this weekend.

Wil.

Procharged5.0 04.11.2007 11:53 AM

Neat to see all the RC's you've owned.

I've said that a few times! More with 1:1 scale than rc, but RC too!:007:

I use the standard RPM wheels and then dye them using RIT fabric dye. Just follow the instructions on the RIT box and poof there they are.

Tires are by IMEX

Procharged5.0 04.11.2007 09:26 PM

They turned out well!
