i didnt find a track yet, but if i do its most likely to be a 1/10th scale track.
so i should aim for slower i guess. around 30 maybe good for a 1/10 track? |
Our track is very tight with one straight about 150' long. When I was running nitro, I used to run the Novarossi P5X. It's a pretty hot engine. When I got my first one, my buggy became one of the fastest buggies on the track. Great acceleration and almost no one could keep up with me on the straight. I was thinking that my buggy was a rocket ship. One night, I took my buggy out to a parking lot where a bunch of us were just playing around and a couple of guys had radar guns. My buggy, setup for the track, clocked 33 mph. It really surprised me, because I thought it was going a lot faster than that.

did you top out on that straight end or did it keep pullin'?
|
Yeah, good acceleration does that. it seems to be wicked fast when the acceleration is okay.
