That is odd. I've never had troubles with either Quark or Neu temps. On my old Quark/9XL Revo, the motor would get kinda toasty after around 15 minutes (when the batts die), but still way under the danger zone, and that was a cheapie Feigao.

Without going through above posts, what batteries are you using?

Using new Zippy-H 4S 5000, (work great, stay nicely balanced)

RC8, 12/46, drivetrain free, big track, big jumps, but I don't use brakes much (seem to lock the wheels even on low setting) and try to avoid gassing or braking on landings.
