Ran the truck today at school(robotics) ran pretty well aside from a few things- the new spur gear is louder then the humongous 66t,My motor mount came loose and almost totaled my pinion(my fault-loctite time). The only real problem was the front walls of both battery trays broke out- they were held in by 2 little m3 coarse screws. both screws pulled out when i came off a jump and landed nose first...perpendicular to the ground. 2 part epoxy should do a better job no?
The truck turns a hell of alot better with the 0 offset wheels and the weight better distributed.. Now I just need to get some bent tie rod ends to clear the wheels and get my steering throw back |
ya. we both kinda failed today at school... I slid off a curb i was riding parallel to, and hit the corner of the curb with only the front left arm, and did cartwheels 5 feet in the air, and tumbled all the way into the building 25 ft away. nothing broke that time. then i backed into the curb at a slow slow speed and the front bumper shattered

Our(mike and I) back up radio is a POS 75mhz fm with some dead rechargable Nicads... it decides when it wants to work and only has about 50 foot range. it sucks |

I just realized my matrix is a mess. Hong Nor rear hub carriers, hobao front hub carriers (metal both), hobao rear and center diff, torsen front diff. Other parts are Cen factory race parts. Hmm what next, maybe the Inferno spur? :P
