@serum, is 1.05 volts a better value to use than 1.2 per cell? I'm just trying to learn more!

RC-Monster Mike 09.15.2005 11:09 PM

yes, it is more accurate voltage under a moderate load.

mt_enthusiast 09.15.2005 11:24 PM

thanks. I knew there had to be a reason. :D Is there a more accurate KV for the HV-Maxx to add into the spreadsheet or is 4400 good to use for estimating?

RC-Monster Mike 09.17.2005 08:45 AM

4400 is not very accurate for the HV. I don't really know what is, but 4400 definately isn't. Under a load, it probably drops to 3000 rpm/volt.

Serum 09.17.2005 08:46 AM

yeah, that's what i thought too.. It can't be under the 295 watts of load...

what about the Reedy Neo One? I couldn't find any information on it other than discussion threads that it is 6500KV.

I added some more items, and I updated it to allow custom entries.

IT doesn't work for me. What program do you use to open it? I got it un zipped.

mt_enthusiast 09.28.2005 07:53 AM

I used Excel 2003. The Excel Viewer from Microsoft can be used although I haven't tested it, and my guess is you won't be able to save modified values. OpenOffice and StarOffice should work too.
