well, you sold a 7020 with a c50 hacker which will more likely FRY the system, which you never mentioned. if some1 was ignorant bidded on the item, they will have a big surprise!
If ur complete conversion is cheaper then dafni's way, then i'll buy it! Though you'll have stiff competition witht he g-revo comming out. |

This RC thing sure is fun, LOL!! |
Well, if you remember old Hacker's Master Car ESC, then that e-maxx combo should never function at all. As far as constant current on my REVO it was maximum around 60A, so ... what's your point? And I do remember blownig couple hackers on my emaxx, so point taken and not really.
We can go into electronics as far as you wish, but I do not see the point. As far as GMaxx or other conversions, I think they all look unique and have future. I think my setup is simple to reproduce without serious CNC business and can be done quick. And with some effort can be under $50.00 or even less. Artur |
please excuse ncbazn. i dont think he realizes exactly how tuff the little 7020s are. coolhand ran a 7xl on one. for a while anyway:p

Artur P.S. From our e-bay conversation you first told me that 7020 doesn't exist (or just wrong, did I publish your question? I think I did.), then U told me that Gmaxx is cool and nothing else and then U mention that you work on your own REVO conversion...and wonder about how tranny works. By the way when I ask you to create a topic at RCForum to discuss and share it with others you just stopped... |
cuz i didnt have an account. Okay its tough, but it still not recommened, NVM!!! i give up! welcome to the forums though!

GriffinRU,Please excuse Nbcazn,we are all used to making allowances for him by now.
Welcome to the forums too! |
Thank you!
I hope we will have a nice idea exchange in the future. Artur |
Griffin welcome aboard:D .
Were can i see a pic or 2 of your conversion ?. I have a EVO done in DAFNI style :D . But i always like to see custom work. Thanks. |
Yes, Artur, nevermind nbcaznboy. We're used to him by now.
Actually, it's a very nice and friendly atmosphere here. Lots of helpfull members. Let's not let to spoil it by one kid. Glad you found your way here. My opinion on your ebay story: Can't blame you for trying, looked like a honest describtion, too. Welcome to RCM! DAF |

Is the motor plate designed to work in the motor mount brackets?

It helps to maintain proper gear mesh and more flexibility with spur/pinion selection as well as Nitro-Electric swap. Artur |
Very nice design

Couple new mods to my REVO.
Center diff. from E-Bay Batteries were relocated to the bottom. Works great. Think of LiPo battery pack in that location with 6mm pack width, it would be on the same level with front and rear skid plates. http://forum.rcdesign.ru/index.php?a...=post&id=19132 http://forum.rcdesign.ru/index.php?a...=post&id=19133 http://forum.rcdesign.ru/index.php?a...=post&id=19134 Artur |
