if you had the same setup except for the motor and you tried running a 1515/1.5y and a 1515/2.5d I doubt you could tell the difference between the two

I am running a 1521/1y in my E-Revo on 6s LiPo and its waaay too fricken fast. I have to use bead locker wheels or it just rips the tires off. I am amazed at how well the truck takes the abuse. It still has the stock diffs but I did install a center diff which made a world of difference. So far I've done about 6 good hard bashes and nothing is broken; that even counts some bad jumps and summersalts. Oh the joy of watching those front tires swell up when I give it the beans.

I am thinking about trying the Losi Xcelorin\1300Kv to run on 6s. Then I can move my 1521/1y to another truck on 4 or 5s.

I think the 1100\kv 1515/2y would be a good choice also. On 6s it would have more then enough power and would get some very nice temps and run times.

I am running a Neu 1515/1.5y on 6s and it is very great. Awesome power, and stays very cool. It really depends on how you use it. You can't go wrong with the 1515/3d, 1515/1.5y, or the 1515/2.5d. They are all very good 6s motors.

I think you might be disappointed with a 1515/2y on 6s, it would be slow

That's a lot of grunt, how well did the E-Revo handle it?

It's great on 6s, 8s I brake things!, mainly axel shaft and the speeds are insane!..

The good news is the Neu loves it!, never gets above 140ish degrees MetalMan and I have temped it every time we go out and it's always the same Motor is 140, esc (MGM) is 120 ish.. and my gearing is 52 / 24 for what it’s worth.. :oh: :gasp: and it’s polished! So that got to add another 5 hps (easy!) :intello: :lol::lol:

That polish increases aerodynamics, shaves an easy second off of your 0-60 time  Sounds like a sweet setup, I'd prefer to put it in a better truck though. I've thrashed the crap out of my Losi Muggy and nothing in the drivetrain ever breaks.

 If that's the one I sold you a few month back I glad to hear it's working good for you!..
