I'm hoping to get enough money back from the government to fill my gas tank and buy lunch for a week  I've only paid about 1/4 of my YTD earnings into taxes so who knows...

If I get lucky with returns and if (wishful thinking) they do another "Stimulus Check" I will probably go ahead and make my E-Baja 5B or maybe even 5T.

yeah my next option would be a baja 5t

GorillaMaxx with all the aftermarket parts you can dream of and BL + lipo power = my current truck.

Im living the dream....

this is a cool thread topic. i am gonna have fun with this.

i agree with Neil. i have built, or am building my dream RCs. although i can still say i have a couple of dream RCs that will be down the road sometime.

currently i am building a custom carbon fiber RC8T 1515 1.5D/F, 5s, MMM, and many custom upgrades. gonna be the sexiest rc8t out there:yes:

also, upgrading my 75mph Schumacher 3spd. one of my dream RCs. back when i drove nitro and had a HPI Rs4 evo3 i used to dream about having a on road car that could do at least 50mph and not have to worry about a stupid carb and glow plug and roto start blah, blah, blah. well that was 5 years ago and now i have one. its a Schu GTRe, 3spd, 3s 3200mah, Castle 5700kv. lots of fun.

and as posted i have a on road 1/5 that i have yet to convert. waiting to finish the RC8T first. hoping to turn the on road 1/5 into 2wd burnout smoking 65mph brushless racer on 10s and 1527 Neu.

My brushless Losi 8t i would have to say is about as good a truck as i could ask for. Tough as hell, low maintenance, does 60mph and looks great doing it with upgrades galore. you can view thread if u search "Losi 8t build pics"

But for the Dream projects that arent in the garage yet...hmm...so many choices...

1. a brushless 100mph Serpent 950R

2. brushless 4wd baja 5t, 10s, MGM, and 2215 Neu

3. a 4ws super scale crawler. just barely picked up an issue of "RC Crawler" for the first time and i ust say that i am now sold on building a badass crawler. but i want one that can crawl and throw rooster tails. ha!

those are 3 that i would say are my "dreams" for now. hopefully they will be reality in the next few months. i always look at parts online and stuff and look forward to the day when my wallet recovers from all my current projects so i can start on these 3. its gonna be a while. oh well, at least i have something to look forward to.

HPI Baja 5T truck, NEU 2215 and HV110 on 12S.

let me know how that turns out. as you can see i listed as one of my "dream rcs" a brushless 5t on a Neu 2215. have you started a thread? any pics?

Nice dreams, hopefully i'll be able to start my dream E-Revo someday.

Arct1k 12.04.2008 04:48 PM

Any or all of Shaun's cars

Thunderbruiser 12.06.2008 02:32 PM

A Pair of MCD 1/5 scales one is on-road and one is off road
I already had one but sold it(man I miss that thing)

Thunderbruiser 12.11.2008 03:54 PM

i am also really missing my e-revo.. i wish I kept it and with MMM/Neu for power with my 6s setup..was running quark/9xl/6s 8000mah lipo(2x3s)....needless to say the most powerful truck I've ever run

trev3813 12.11.2008 05:55 PM

Nicee, im working on my Tc3 right now, carpet racing =]

bigboi146 12.11.2008 07:35 PM

I wish I had a e-revo brushless with two nice 3s batteries.

dayum - i could go on and on and on... but i'm surprised (considering it's a "dream RC" thread) that other than texas with his tank, everyone has gone for a truck... spose i cant be surprised considering the forum i'm on, but just figured some of you boys would have gone all out like i'm about to do hehehe

My dream rc's would consist of a few of every type... air/surface/water, and they'd all be Lehner/mgm/lipo powered (except for the large scale heli probably - that'd be running 2x turbines hehehe)...

I wont go into detail cos i'd have to have a good think about it, but would have...

*My Savage finished and extended further on 8S instead of 6S!! -lol-
*BL Baja
*BL FG offroad Truck & TC
*Zenoah powered MCD Racing 5th scale Rally car
*Rockbull Pro Crawler

*ALL of the boats in this page of videos, ESPECIALLY the 2.33 mtr BL cat (2nd vid down) that vid still excites me!!! Could pick a few others, but would most likely have one for each hull design (1x cat/1x F1 tunnel/1x mono etc etc etc)

*a sick massive yacht with a working rc spinnaker and all the other gear
*another large scale yacht - something around 2.5-3mtr mark, but shaped as an old pirate ship or something, and fully functioning, sails, people on the decks/ropes etc etc...

*a large scale turbine and brushless mini-raptor AND 90 size heli - the larger for scale, most likely decked out as a Blackhawk or something, and the mini & the 90 for some upside down action...
*Probably a scale chinook too with scale cargo to pick up with a winch and stuff -lol-

*A huge scale Raptor jet, turbines n all
*One of those stealth jets... the wierd shaped one... forget the name -lol-
*And one of those huge, massive, gigantic, big ass stunt planes... you know - the ones twice the size of a small car... probably a few different planes actually...

mann - i could seriously keep going, and probably could have branched out a fair bit there too... if i could have all i wanted, i'd seriously need to have been born into an arab sheik's family to afford it all!! -lol-

in 2005 i had one dream, A gorilla G2R conversion, I have it and love it. This year i got two wishes i want and will fill, One is a summit with my 2250 lehner and quark combo, the other is a schumacher menace on-road, with a single speed conversion and a menace off road suspension conversion. All thats needed is the towers, mounts, shocks and wheels. I'd probably run my 1200xl basic lehner on 5s setup on it
