Cheap insurance. Michael |
thanks i think i will pay th extra $35 dollars when i by the controller and motor
andy |
is there anything else i should know about these motors and controllers
|
Only that you should have fun :). Just keep the controller away from water, and put a piece of tape over the rear bearing on the motor to keep debris out of it.
|
Just to make sure i can use the UBEC device with the warrior 9920 and a bk 8xl or 9xl cant i? and what temps would the controller and motors run(so i know what to expect)
Andy |
yes you can use a ubec and the controller shouldnt go over about 150 at most and motor about 160 but with that motor and setup with a ubec it should run way less.
|
What would the temps with ubec be like and is there a way to hook up a fan up to the controller?
|
What connectors would i need to get to hook the controller to the motor. I currently use deans for my batteries
Andy |
from the motor to the controller you would use these. not sure on the ubec temps but 10 degrees cooler would be my guess.
|
I don't think you can compare the temp of the controller with BEC to the temp without BEC. The BEC chip doesn't touch the heatsink, and it is on the underside of the controller. But, it certainly won't get hot if a UBEC is used.
