One more question for Patrick: what size will your 1500 KV motor be? even longer than the 1518 ?

Probably alot like a 1521 1y, it is near 1500kv.

The 1518 looks like a really good size for a larger/heavier 1/8 scale MT, such as the various XL vehicles that have come out recently. And it will be a good choice for people running really heavy tires on the smaller trucks.

Arct1k 01.28.2009 12:07 PM

Yes all the motors a 1Y with increase in rotor size to make it slower

1512.25 2650kv
1515 2200kv
1518.3 1800kv
1522 1500kv

1518 would be nice on my G3R as it a bit heavy with the 6s2p A123...

Thanx for the submissions guys! I'll be making my choices this weekend, and we'll be shipping the motors out on Monday.

Thanx again!

So far we have quite a few responses, but there are a few things to remember.

If you are interested, send an e-mail to Patrick, don't just reply to the thread. When you send Patrick the e-mail, be sure to include your contact information AND your name here on RC-Monster.

Also include some information about the setups that you can test the motor in. IE vehicles, batteries, data loggers, etc. Also your experience in R/C, what you've run, how long, etc is helpful. This information is crucial for us to choose the right people to get the most out of testing. Thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm and response to helping us out, your help is greatly appreciated!

I have all of the above lol. The only problem for me is the weather.

BrianG 01.28.2009 05:06 PM

Same here. Even if my XT8 was ready, it's just too cold for me to stand outside.

skellyo 01.28.2009 05:13 PM

We have great weather here in Orlando. :intello:

hemiblas 01.28.2009 05:16 PM

Weather is sunny and dry out here in Vegas. No snow to hold me up.

There's snow on the ground here, too. Only thing holding me up is my lipos keep coming loose and falling out :diablo:

Wimps, I'd be willing to freeze my nyloc nuts off to test one of these monster-motors...

:lol::rofl:

I would send an e-mail, but I don't think Patrick has ever got any of my e-mails, which is the other reason why I didn't send it. If he wants any feedback from me, I would be more then glad to help out beta testing the motor. I have a MMM that still needs to stretch its legs a bit.
