Good to see the ESC I was having made is showing up again in here. Too bad the company that was going to make it sucks in every thing related to cars. They sent me 2 30A car ESC that has to be the worst even I've seen. There will be better ESCs coming out soon.

Edit: That picture there was taken after I sent them 800 MOSFETs and waited a long time until I decided to just sell the MOSFETs and made a nice little profit on them lol, I paid $0.45 each and sold them for $1.20 each, I might have paid less, but it was a while ago.

it says dynamic breaking, is that just marketing or does that esc work for cars, without mechanical breaks? or is it just like any other flight-esc? does that mean kinda "proportional"-break?

I use a cheapo-chinese-200a esc, wich looks quite the same. except the automatic breaks at neutral position it works just great. I have added 4 more power caps (680uF each), and 2 fans (one on each side...). looks ugly, but is rock solid. excellent acceleration etc. it was planned to be the "spare"-esc, cos the etti burned quickly, the scorpion smoked during setup (I get replacement)... but is now in permanent use.

It is for prop folding basically. The brake is not proportional like the car ESC.

Oh, I thought you were talking about one from the SuperSimple line. How much does that controller in the pic go for?

btw, regarding your esc-plans, did you ever contact "etti" as a manufacturer? I've been in contact with a guy in HK, as they have replaced one esc for me (suddenly no more beeps at all). I ordered the esc in UK, so I guess this guy was from the manufacturer. whithin 10 days I had a new one (which burned due to faar too long gearing... buhuu...).
I just wonder, because the quality of the ettis is quite ok, and the folks have been very cooperative. nevertheless, the breaks don't work for cars really (boat-esc).
the manufacturer of the bp-200a is suppo model, I've just asked them what "dynamic" means. I'm curious.
