Fail.

Go back to page 2, and read my mine & Mark's comments.
Get a ruler and calipers, and measure your stock pins to see which size you need- slightly too long is fine as you can trim them down as required.

You dont need a picture- its just a metal pin with a head on it, visualize it boy....

They don't bend as easily as the others. You'll need the 1/8" diameter pin.

JERRY2KONE 04.30.2009 07:53 AM

Pics for you.

Here are some photos of the pins I received. I left the knobs on the end of the first set that I cut, and with bumper mounts installed it is impossible for them to come out on their own. Like Lito said the 1/8th inch are what you need. I really like the chrome pins because they are very smooth, which helps the arms move easily. I have had to remove way too many bent pins due to them getting bent in just simple bumps. These are much harder and they do not bend easily like the Ti pins do. They really are great.

They actually look quite trick.

George16 05.01.2009 01:38 AM

I drilled and tapped my GA bulks in order to capture the pins. This prevents them from moving and greatly reduces the chances of bending them. Besides, they'll break before they bend.

well i finally finished my emaxx and got it running yesterday , after 2 runs with the punch control set to 50% the spider gear got damaged it was the spider gears from a used kyosho mp777 then i changed the spider gears to the ofna titan spider gears and set the punch control to 80% and after 2 runs the spider gears stripped again although im pretty sure everything is meshed correctly.

my LHS sells kyosho inferno diffs and xtm diffs , which is better??

wat diffs r u guys using in ur hybrid bulks??

Thats odd and hard to believe! Emaxxter, a poster on TRX busted a HB Lightning diff in his Hybrids a few days ago

George16 06.15.2009 05:22 AM

Shimming the diffs make the most diferrence. I am using Ofna 8 spider diff on my gmaxx and I still have to strip one of them. Of course, I shimmed them nicely too.

mkrusedc 06.15.2009 09:53 AM

I agree with Lito. 1/8 diffs in a metal case that are shimmed properly should not have problems with the systems we are running.

I use these in my FLM hybrids.

RUSTED 06.16.2009 12:28 AM

well i opened the diff and the ofna titan spider gears were all broken into tiny little peices unlike the inferno spider gears where the gears stripped , so i put another set of kyosho inferno spider gears in the diff and this time i shimmed it so it has a tight mesh , where it was hard to turn by hand, its been 2 runs now and im not having problems with, i will take it to the track today and will see what will happen.I passed by my LHS to see wat diffs they had , the xtm spider gears looked like they were made of the same material of the titans ,so i didnt get , so i bough a complete diff of a strange brand for 15$ and was planning to useit if the kyosho inferno spiders fail again , but it didnt so far was expecting it to strip the first 5 min

if all fails im gonna get the aluminum diff case and hot bodies diff , , anyone running this setup??

suicideneil 06.16.2009 07:50 PM

Hot bodies diffs + UE ultralite cases, about as bullet proof as you will get apart from ofna 8 spider diffs = my setup.
