Yes I have, but I have been considering some other slider's that look and should perform much better.

There are several design's out now. I'll shoot a link when I can find the one's that I really like/want.

I got my rig swapped over to the Rockshow chassis now. Available space or lack thereof is a minor concern. I've stuck my Hot axles under it for now. Still waiting on parts to get the Berg axles complete and ready for the show.

Please do i would like to see them . What berg parts are you waiting for ?.

RCShocker 04.05.2009 03:30 PM

I am waiting on Axial stub axles to replace the Berg one's right from the get go. Still need the JP lockout's. And new bearings for the VP knuckles.

I'm gonna run the Eritex Heavy Comp wheels with Rovers for the next couple of months. Unless I just cant get the balance right. They have NWTT foams in them. And I probably should have been using them all along. :grrrrrr:
You can see the XtremeRC delrin links in the picture too. I will stick with them as well.

Yes, I searched again and found them in about 15 minutes.

They are Downtown's axle gliders. I want to combine the gliders with stick-on sliders for the cases.

The other ones seem like they would offer better protection.

Yeah maybe, but if they were any uglier I think I could make them myself. And I dont really want ziptie's holding thing's on my axle's.

You can see the "Glider's" VERY good lower down in this thread.

I see that . But the gear box is still unproteced . Is there a berg servo mount that does not use clamps to hold the servo mount to the axel ?.

I just saw the link to the peel @ stick teflon skids for the gear box . They look nice . But there is still a lot of exposed parts of the axel .

Wow Doug,

I have not checked in in awhile. Very Nice! I have booked marked the thread as a reference for when I get the balls to try this.

Finally got to crawl this thing a little with the Rockshow chassis, shorter shocks, and 11.1v of Lipo power.

Pretty happy with the performance on the rocks so far. Need to tweak the foam a little. The extra wheel speed was nice too.

Berg axles, 45t's, and the 13t pinion's will be a nice add-on in the next 10 days or so. Waiting on the lockouts still though.

Get to practice again one night this week too.......WooHoo!!!!! :mdr:

RCShocker 06.20.2009 11:42 AM

WOW!!! Longtime no post. Even since the addition of Berg axles.

Alot has happened/changed since then. But anyway..................

This is the newer V2 RockShow chassis (white delrin) that I should be using soon.

Wonder if I should dye it or not?

Of course, that's my V1 Rockshow with the yellow panels in the background.
