Serum 01.29.2006 01:12 PM

yeah, that is rather fast.

1940/8 on 6S right? with a 51/12?

Serum 01.29.2006 01:14 PM

And what is the outer diameter of the tires?

virusss 01.29.2006 01:16 PM

The motor is 1940/8 6S lipo, tire is 114mm pinio 16 spur 44, for this motor 6S is correct o too much?

Serum is right. I have a Mugen MBX5 here, and I tested many setups on it.
I feel lipos make it almost "too light", so I compensated with a big motor :027:

But the Revo is correct, too. I'm still waiting on shafts to complete it, though.

Rene, you can use 36cm for buggy wheel circumfence, btw.

Dafni, for you what is the speed correct for a buggy in KMH?(Gearing pinion spur)
And the 1940/8 whit 6S is OK?

Dafni 01.29.2006 02:52 PM

On 6S, you should be able to gear for 40mph without problems. For constant running, I gear my buggy for 35-40mph (app.60kmh, maybe) But for speed runs, I think I squeezed way more out of it :017:

On the buggy I like "slower" motors and more voltage. 6S is plenty!! 5S works fine for me, too. (correct motor assumed!) Already 14Ni cells are enough for a 1/8 bug.

How many rpm/V has the 1940/8??

virusss 01.29.2006 03:09 PM

1960rpm volt but I do not know if the lehner they are load or unload

Serum 01.29.2006 03:20 PM

1960kv

Serum 01.29.2006 03:20 PM

Which is under load viruss. all the motor's of BK are rated under load.

virusss 01.29.2006 03:24 PM

My motor is a lehner no BK

Dafni 01.29.2006 03:29 PM

1960rpm/V on 6S might be a bit too much! Especially for a buggy. You will not find a small enough pinion. 5S would be better, or even 4S.

Serum 01.29.2006 03:38 PM

LOL! BK is Lehner!

:p

Ops.. :)
