Oh ok. I haven't had that problems with the 20 series. I have had a problem with a truck but it seems to be the truck. I have tried different motors on it and same problem. It works on another truck.

read up on it here.

try an round iron core around each motor wire. sounds like you might be getting inductance bounce off your chassi and screwing up the phase posistion on your controller.

you can get the round iron cores from a radio supply shop

some cat 6 cables have them on them

and a alot of low level audio cables may have them

you can steal them off them

the reason why your shulze is not having this trouble is because its a better controller and they have acounted for this to happen

well I got 1 pair of hybrid bulks out of 2 from flm. mike is checking on the other set.

But I tore down my hybrid truck and check the center cvds on the torpedo and every thing looks like its going to fit. should have some build pix soon

It looks like it is going to be a long truck.

pcnutz 03.02.2006 09:52 AM

well I am having fit and finnish issues, I would break out the trusy dremal, but its an isse with my flm hbrid bulks and and supermaxx shocktowers

there is the top case screw in the flm bulks right in the middle and right in the way of my shock tower lower brace in the middle

what shock towers do you use with your hybrid bulks

I am also looking into the xl, but would love to hear more. I have not gone brushless YET, but when i do, i'll have some money to play with....so i am a little info hungry!! thanks. It seems many go with 9920/9L, this seems like a dependable set up, but maybe would like a little more speed?

Sylvester 03.02.2006 01:29 PM

You wont get much more speed out of the xl's unless you use more cells, thats why me and others went with the "L" can .

neweuser 03.02.2006 01:56 PM

sounds good...thanks. which do you like better, the 9L or 10L?

maxxdude1234 03.02.2006 03:14 PM

I would look at an XL motor. They will run more efficiently than an L motor, and if you want stupid power in the future they could push your truck well towards 60mph with higher cell counts.

pcnutz 03.02.2006 03:19 PM

I like the 10L in my maxx, g2r, and twinforce

just a question, how can a XL can be more efficient with more wire resistance?

neweuser 03.02.2006 03:24 PM

Stupid power? lol
if it don't put my hair back...then i may as well get my wheel chair now!!! too many decisions!
