That's true for the Castle version. Original Neu uses carbon fiber wrap, as well as Medusa and many others.

Not sure if the conductive carbon fiber will do anything good to the thermal issue because of the "micro turb current". I am sure Steve neu must be smarter than me in motor design, just curious:whistle:.
