1 word, "OUCH"
I guess it's 2 for 1 here then ?

lincpimp 12.04.2009 10:31 PM

Solar powered flashlights?

talking bras?

family size diet pills?

Unsullied_Spy 12.04.2009 10:52 PM

Solar powered flashlights exist (I have one, somewhere )

You don't listen to who wears the bra, why would you listen to the bra itself?

Diet pills you're on to something. Promise perfect results with no side effects then when the lawsuits for kidney failure roll it you book it out of the country :diablo:

You guys must be high paying that much:lol:

i saw a study where the number one asked for invention was by housewives that wanted some machine to fold clothes.

JERRY2KONE 12.05.2009 12:08 AM

Just saw this.

I just saw something on TV about a doctor who was working on a new way to sitmulate pain and stress through nerve electorlissis of some kind. The end result turned out to be surprizing even to him and it is an implant that gets connected at the base of the spinal cord, which produces electrical stimulas to the pelvic region:oh:. The unit is controlled by a tiny remote control, and creates orgasims for women:eyes:. The first implant is going to take place next month. The test subjects say that they can create unbelievable multiple orgasims on demand several times a day:surprised:. In case you do not get the idea men are being replaced as satisfaction toys for women:gasp:. Things are not looking good for us you know.

you could be onto something there...
put a metered current through the solder wire, so when touched on the work surface, it shorts with a earth clamp and melts the solder. a lot like ARC welding.

Gotta be careful with any soldering solution that uses current to melt. Current means voltage is present, and may be catastrophic for some electronic circuits.

I also have a few ideas, but I consider them to be "innovations" rather than "inventions". Innovations are, IMO, better ways to make something work using existing methods, or using something that exists in other applications.

HomeGrown 12.05.2009 12:24 PM

ya Brian i've also thought of those innovations you speak of..lol i was thinkin making a hydrolic (battery operated) lift to lift the ramps of like back hoe trailors.. but then my boss said they have them already.. but what if i can make them for cheaper and of better quality using a different design?

suicideneil 12.05.2009 01:56 PM

Get rich quick= find a stupid rich person whos had their appendix removed, and convince them to buy yours as a replacement.

I like to dream up cool new inventions, but as with most things in life its kind expensive to develop and patent the idea (unless you go on tv shows like 'Dragons den').

for the longest time i wanted to make electromagnetic shocks and by controlling the current it would essentially make RC stability control, but the concept would work on even full size vehicles.--josh

I believe they have that already in 1:1 cars, or at least the concept. And I think they even use the shock's motion to generate power - regenerative suspension. In R/C, the benefit to power/weight ratio would be prohibitive unless it was in a large 1/5 scale+.

Bose has something like this: http://www.bose.com/controller?event...suspension.jsp. I also remember a R/C guy making one for his vehicle.
